where to cool, interesting data & data stories?

As I have ascended into the corporate world (ok barely the market has been trash for the last three years and the past two when I graduated) but

1. Data & Eggs - This is run by theDataFace (a staple in the data community)
2. Information is Beautiful - A staple in the information community
3. Data is Plural - I first discovered this during my time at LOC!!
4. data.gov - this one is basic but also a goodie. open data is cool!!! especially from our weird govts (local, state and federal) 5.

MAKE YOUR OWN!!! geopy - great for developing your own geo datasets json - you can just write one up seriously webscraping - AI ruined this but keep it small and have some fun

okay asides from datasets I also really recommend checking out the open visualization academy!
